Trust & Safety
CreatorVillage is built for real creative collaboration. Here's how we keep it safe — and how you can protect yourself.
Best practices
Verify before you meet
Check a collaborator's profile history, completed projects, and reviews before agreeing to meet in person. A complete profile with real work is a good sign.
First meetings in public
For your first in-person collab or shoot, choose a public location — a studio, café, or co-working space. Let someone you trust know where you're going.
Keep agreements in writing
Use CreatorVillage messaging to confirm project details, compensation, and deliverables. Written records protect everyone if expectations aren't met.
Trust your instincts
If something feels off — pressure to move fast, vague project details, requests for personal info — it's okay to decline. Your safety comes first.
Tools & resources
